"Helping You Restore Your Physical and Mental Health."
Welcome To
Serenity Wellness
Massage
WELCOME! WE HOPE THIS MESSAGE FINDS YOU AND YOUR LOVE ONES IN OPTIMUM HEALTH!
For the safety of our staff and clients, we are taking the following precautions.
We are advising all new and returning clients to fill out the required intake forms and health history forms in your email booking prior to the appointment. If the required forms are not completed online beforehand, filling them out on the premises may cut into the appointment time.
What to expect when you arrive?
-
In an effort to maintain social distancing with other clients, you will be greeted at the entrance when you arrive, and you must remove your shoes before entering the treatment area. PLEASE arrive 5 mins before your appointment as we do not have a waiting room. ALL intakes will be conducted in the treatment area. We have hand sanitizers throughout the Studio for your use. Once on the table, your hands will be sanitized prior to the start of service, regardless if you have washed your hands in our restroom.
-
Each treatment room will be properly sanitized, in accordance with MA Dept. of Health Services guidelines, after every appointment. The surfaces that will be disinfected include but are not limited to massage tables, chairs, end tables, and floors. We have also purchased two high-efficiency air purifiers that run throughout the day, in additional to 1-2 diffuser(s) filled with sage, rosemary and eucalyptus therapeutic essential oils. Rest assured that we are taking every available precaution to keep everyone safe.
-
Mask-wearing for both clients and staff is required in our facility. If you do not have a face mask, a new reusable masks are available for your use. Gloves will also be provided for therapists to use at the clients’ request. Hand sanitizer throughout our facility for your use at any time. You are not required to wear a mask while lying face down on the massage table, however, you are required to wear a mask once lying face up on the table.
-
Random temperature checks will be conducted during the colder seasons, and read by a contactless thermometer before the appointment can begin. If anyone is running a temperature above 99 degrees, they will be asked to reschedule. If you are sick or have been exposed to someone with COVID-19 within the last 14 days before treatment, we ask that you remain home and in quarantine, to minimize exposure of others to the virus.
-
All scheduled appointments will receive a reminder email 48 hrs before your appointment, prompting you to fill out a health questionnaire. You will not be treated until this form has been properly filled out and submitted to our system.
-
In the event a therapist you have scheduled with becomes sick or is exposed to COVID-19, you will be informed by our staff as soon as we become aware of the situation.
-
Finally, we advise all our clients to follow safety guidelines from the CDC and MA Dept. of Health regarding proper hand washing procedures, to wear masks in heavily populated areas, and to socially distance. Stay home and self-quarantine if you exhibit symptoms of COVID-19 or have been exposed to COVID-19 during the past 14 days. We are taking every precaution to minimize the possibility of exposure, but clients should fully understand that they are patronizing Serenity Wellness Massage at their own risk, and holds no responsibility if they should come into contact with the virus.
We want your experience at Serenity Wellness Massage to be as safe and smooth as possible. This is a new era for our business, and industry as a whole, and we understand that some of you might have questions or need further clarification.
